Tharaka University (TUN) hosted officials from the Clinical Officers Council (COC), for the official indexing of Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine students, an important milestone in their professional training.
The council delegation, led by Ms. Janet Mwenda from the COC Secretariat, was received by Mr. Muriuki Dennis, Head of Department in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The exercise formally registered students with the regulatory body, allowing them to be recognized as trainees in clinical medicine and preparing them for their future roles in the healthcare sector.
The indexing process is a crucial requirement in the training of clinical officers as it ensures that students meet professional standards set by the regulatory authority.
