The “Desert Foxxes” as they’re popularly known showed discipline and lethal attacking strength throughout the game, dominating possession and converting their chances to collect maximum points in the first fixture, a result that boosts their hopes of progressing further in the competition.

They’re set to face rivals Machakos University and Kibabii University in their next matches as they seek to win their pool and progress further.

In netball, Tharaka University showed early jitters losing narrowly 13-15 to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology but bounced back in their second game defeating Kamusinga Friends University 17–12 in a closely contested match.
