The Directorate of Examinations & Timetabling oversees the scheduling, administration, and processing of all University examinations while ensuring confidentiality, fairness, and academic excellence.

About the Directorate

The Directorate works closely with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (ARSA), Registrar (AA), Deans, Directors, and Chairpersons of Departments to monitor implementation of the curriculum. Its main objective is to prepare semester schedules, set, process, and administer examinations with strict confidentiality to produce competitive, creative, and problem-solving graduates.

The Directorate enables the University to train professionals and non-professionals across its academic programmes in line with the University’s vision. Assessment of these professionals is conducted through the University examination processes.

Key Functions
  • Preparation of the academic calendar for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
  • Preparation of teaching, consultation, and examination timetables for all programmes.
  • Ensure adherence to teaching and examination schedules.
  • Coordinate academic field trips during the semester.
  • Arrange and manage lecture halls for academic and non-academic purposes.
  • Maintain lecture halls, theatres, workshops, and laboratories in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Processing of all University examinations.
  • Ensure standards and procedures of examinations are maintained.
  • Coordinate examinations and provide necessary logistics and materials.
