Tharaka University (TUN) held its annual Performance Contract (PC) signing ceremony. The event was led by the Vice-Chancellor & CEO, Prof. Peter K. Muriungi. Top management, including Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Collins Miruka (AFP&D) and Prof. Veronica Nyaga -Academics Research and Student Affairs , Registrars from both divisions, Deans, Directors, CoDs, HoDs, and both academic and administrative staff, signed the 2025/2026 Performance Contract (PC).
In his remarks, Prof. Peter K. Muriungi commended the Performance and Contracting Directorate, led by Ms. Wendy Micheni, for their outstanding work and in thee directorate. He also thanked all staff for their ongoing efforts, urging them to honor their commitments under the contract and to continue supporting and guiding students, which remains the core mission of the university.
The PC signing was developed in line with the national guidelines and aims to achieve specific performance targets that align with the government’s overall objectives, thereby improving public service delivery and efficiency.
Tharaka University remains steadfast in advancing accountability, enhancing service delivery, and upholding its mandate to provide quality education for national development.
