Tharaka University (TUN) today successfully concluded the TUSA 2026/2027 Elections following the completion of the final phase in which duly elected faculty representatives exercised their democratic mandate to constitute the TUSA Governing Council.

The Chairperson of the TUSA 2026/2027 Electoral Commission, Dr. Collins Sitienei, officially announced the results and congratulated the newly elected leaders, urging them to uphold integrity, embrace inclusive leadership, and diligently serve the student body.

Speaking during the announcement, Dr. Shadrack Munanu, Dean of Students and Head of the Student Welfare Department, noted that the inauguration date will be communicated in due course, after which the leaders will undergo training and formally assume office.
