The DUARM spearheads Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, alumni and corporate fundraising, student and staff exchange programmes, and the establishment of an endowment fund to support scholarships. It focuses on nurturing students into professionals with integrity and moral ethos through community service and mentorship.

Aligned to the University’s vision and mission, the directorate raises resources from foundations, corporates, bilateral collaborations, County and National Governments, Faith-Based Agencies (FBAs), and other goodwill partners to financially support all sectors of the University, particularly in dryland farming, mining, and infrastructural development projects.

The Directorate also promotes the positive image of Tharaka University both locally and abroad, inviting students to cultivate professional and leadership skills for future service delivery to society.
