Tharaka University (TUN) staff teams delivered a stellar performance at the Inaugural Mount Kenya University North-Rift Tournament held from 30th–31st May at Eldoret Sports Club, clinching two major trophies and showcasing exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Each team earned a Certificate of Participation in recognition of its contribution to the event’s success and its outstanding performance throughout the competition.
Competing in the corporate category against formidable teams from MKU Main Campus-Thika, MKU Eldoret Campus, and MKU Kitale Campus, the TUN Netball Ladies and TUN Veterans Team emerged as unbeaten champions, demonstrating resilience, discipline, and a winning mentality throughout the tournament.
The action-packed weekend provided a vibrant platform for competition, networking, and camaraderie, bringing together institutions and corporate teams in a celebration of sport, unity, and healthy rivalry.
